 Born in Saskatchewan and lived on the Prairies before moving to the Atlantic Provinces in 1979.

 EDUCATION:

Nova Scotia College of Art and Design.
Studied with Master Painters Across Canada.
Currently a watercolour demonstrator for manufacturers of art supplies and for art supply stores.
 Nora is in demand as a watercolour workshop instructor.

Four years experience managing the Coffee & Colours Art Gallery on Barrington Street in Halifax from 1983-87.
Nora has been guest curator of many shows for various organizations.
She was the guest curator for the "25th Anniversary" Show at the Dartmouth Heritage Museum Gallery in November 1993.
She has been invited to act as juror for many of the local art shows, and also as a guest instructor for local art groups.
Nora illustrated the book "Louisa's Diary" for the Nova Scotia Museum in 1989.
It has been incorporated into the Social Studies book for elementary school students in Nova Scotia.
Parks Canada has commissioned paintings for signs on the Balsam Hollows Trail in Green Gables Park in Prince Edward Island.
